What is the car spec (assume it's jspec). It will run fine at 1.1 bar with the stock ECU. 1.2-1.3 bar is taking the fueling to near the limits in terms of det at the change-over point, but it should be fine at the high range. Have you got any sign from the gauges that things are getting above limits on the AFR or EGT gauge?

For BPU it's really not neccesary to have a piggyback ECU, but does add in some safety margin for the change-over point.

EMB is a bit sledgehammer, it has few cells for adjustment (like many basic piggyback ECU's) so can't do much in the way of fine tune.

EMU is a far better system with a far greater resolution map. If you go the ECU upgrade route it's the only piggyback worth going for once long term goals are factored in (ie. if you plan to modify beyond BPU)
