Thats a very strange order.

Maybe let me explain:

Sight - without you wouldnt be able to see the world or anything in it which i think would be terrible as there are so many good things to look at!

Taste - I quite like my food and drink so how annoying would it be to be able to smell it but not taste it!

Smell - Id rather smell something than listen to ut or touch it

Hearing - If i cant hear someone they can still write things down for me or im quite a good lip reader ;)

Touch - I could still actually touch things just not feel them so you dont lose out too much :D

Im bored at work so thought i would explain my reasons :)

Thanks, I am sure you are not alone in that thought. I still get comments like that, once not so long ago in the shower by an ex heavy weight boxer. Good thing I never drop the soap.

It's both hilarious and strangely flattering.

I couldn't bare it if I lost my sight.

I could manage very well without the sense of smell, and probably almost as well without the sense of taste.

So that leaves touch and hearing....close call, but I'd prefer to keep hearing over touch.

IMO senses are important for survival rather than smelling the roses and tasting fine wines - those are just extras! Sight is fine but taking smell and taste over hearing and touch is just wierd.

Again, don't you think about what you do with your sense of touch without even realising it? Try picking up an egg without feeling any pressure, you'd either break it or drop it!! You could lean on the hob and not realise until the smoke was coming off your hands!!! And then the things you can't rely on sight for; how would you wipe your arse without feeling anything? Next time you brush your teeth imagine you can't feel the brush in your hand so you don't know how much pressure to apply, and you don't know where the brush is in your mouth either. And eating food, a sense of taste is no good if all you can taste is blood - without feeling the food on your tongue and the pressure on your teeth you would have NO clue where it is in your mouth, so you wouldn't be able to chew it, and you'd probably have chewed your tongue off the first time you try to eat something!
