Calorus
Hi All, Can anyone tell me if there are any differences between the bare (standard hardtop) chassis used for: a) the UK, A80s and the Japanese ones. b) Manual and Auto A80s, and c) Turbo and Normally Aspirated ones. The bare blocks of the 2JZ-GE & GTE. I'm aiming to build a fully stripped and caged trackday single turbo JZA80, but I'm not made of money, so since I'm going to do the pistons at very least, it might make more sense to start with a cheap NA auto and do the pistons, if the turbo manifolds will bolt up easily, and the V161 will go in without too much fuss. Comments, tips and warnings would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks! Edited June 30, 2009 by Calorus (see edit history)
JustGav
The NA head and TT head are different, so it isn't a case of just bolting it up.... The chassis is the same on the hardtop.. A80s?????? Not sure what you mean.... If you search for NA-T, manual conversion you will find a wealth of info.

MarkR
The blocks are different too. The NA is missing the oil squirters.
