Matt H
Anyone into Hed Kandi mixes'? Just got hold of the latest Spring Mix. Awesome album. Thought i would share as this really is superb in my opinion http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hed-Kandi-Mix-Spring-2009/dp/B0021UDJZU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1246357534&sr=8-2 Also been listening to chilled beat sessions. Great for plugging in and writing away at a report. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chilled-Beats-Sessions-Over-Hours/dp/B000B9G6SA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1246357727&sr=8-1 This track memorises me.. The first minute 3 minutes could be skipped mind. But when the chelo / violin gets introduced; very powerful. Track 8 - Disc 2 - Mrs. Chombee Takes The Plunge - Herbaliser Oh and this one's also a killer, totally rinsed now in the CD player. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hed-Kandi-2009-Various-Artists/dp/B001HZ9A80/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1246357534&sr=8-
Lebsteif
Buy the Hed Kandi world series Brazil, you won't regret it the Summer sampler is more of a compilation of the Brazil so you can leave that one.

Back in the day before Ministry bought it I would agree, we use to travel all over for Hed Kandi nights out and always had a great time. That sadly is no more and all the recent albums I have listened too are mostly old tracks badly remixed, typical Ministry style
Carl_S
No doubt Wez, I am not a conossieur, just an unfussy consumer looking for a little beat fix.
Matt H
I live and breathe hed kandi. Oh balls, Hed Kandi collections anyone?! going cheap?!
Carl_S
It's ok, I was only joking Matt. Hed kandi for my is like listening to the teletubbies theme tune, again and again. I would not dream of listening to that kind of rubbish. Thrash is more my style.

Bought both of those on their respective days of release - an HK album always accompanies me in the car. It seems to sound even better in weather like this, too.
