Alex Posted April 18, 2005 Share Posted April 18, 2005 With any fuel computer you need a WB02 sensor to set it up properly...the eManage's datalogging can make this far easier to map accurately...the S-AFC will be a very rough optimisation based on what you think you see... I don't want any more gauges in the car if possible. I read on here that a lot of the widebands aren't suitable for use with the e-01 though. Alex Posted April 18, 2005 Share Posted April 18, 2005 Well any is better than none. I'm afraid I've only had experience of the AEM ones. MVP currently supply the sensor for the 30-4111/4112/4121/4211/4212/4221 AEM gauges which is a Bosch LSU4.2 with a configuration spanning 10:1 to 19.98:1. This is what I have (one of those "30-4xxx" model codes means 52mm black gauge with black bezel). Ian got a slightly different one. 30-2300/2301 again using a Bosch LSU4.2 sensor. This has a different range from 8.41:1 to 19.44:1. AFAIK The second one has a much higher resolultion in the range where you need it 11-13:1. But it costs more and I'm not sure if Dusty can supply it. I'd get the 30-2300/2301 if I could but IMO the one I have 30-4212 (I think) is more than good enough. The 52mm gauge is very responsive and clear to read + it's resolution is more than enough for our needs The WB02 can be datalogged at the sametime as the rest of the eManage datastreams thus making off line mapping easier...I just take a few datalogs on the laptop and sit in my lounge pouring over the data seeing where adjustments are needed.... I'm getting close to needing to dyno it soon I have no experience of the E-01 and what it can or can't display sorry - only laptop tuning for me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
