how long does it usually take to kick in? sat in the hotel restaurant and orderd the lamb kebab starters. i had these the other day and were lovely. anyway they arrived and once again looked really nice. i had chewed and swallowed the first one before realising it was a bit cold and squigey in the middle. so made my way onto the second one, with a bit more caution this time, only to find that felt the same. i managed to have a look in the middle of this one and the meat was clearly still raw. took it back and awaiting my new batch, cooked this time hopefully.

so how long can i expect the squirts and terrible stomach cramps to kick in?

Kicks in within 24 hours usually. You'll know if you have it!

Projectile vomiting and diarrhoea. Works your abs though.

You can eat pretty much all meat raw - I certainly did in Japan. It's completely about how it's handled (and that means in the supermarkets etc before you get it).
