DodgyRog
:DVery excited, but a bit hesitant:blink: Short History lesson We bought our first property after coming out of the pub game, about 7 years ago, nice place 100 yards from the sea. Only to have the next door property rented to a heroine addict after we had been there about 3 months, to say it was a knightmare, would be a massive understatement. The final straw came one night/morning (3am), when I heard someone in our back garden and pulled the curtain to see him running out the gate with arms full of our washing off the line. I gave chase in my dressing gown and bare everything else, only to catch up with him on the seafront and he turned to face me dropping the clothes and weilding the heavy half of a pool cue. As the people that have meet me will know, I am not a little guy and said something along the lines of you will only get one swing, so you better make it count you f***ing w***er. To which he drop it and legged it, anyway Jen insisted we move after the Police doing bugger all again, he's a registered addict and all that crap. So we ended up selling at a loss and going into rental property. Well we are now in a position to buy again:thumbs: and have found this nice little bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac, generally in an older peoples area, so hopefully no more druggies:rolleyes: Doesn't look much from the outside, but it's spotless on the inside and a drive for 3 cars. :DI feel a project coming on:D Heres the bungalow anyway:D http://www.fulfords.co.uk/content/009_Results/002_Property/property-sales-rpsFUL-BXG080084-1246289026
Spike3.0
Nice, I like the interior ! How far is the new one away from the beach ? I love Devon/Cornwall area, I'm very jealous. I moved from Chester to Bristol just to get nearer for day trips ! No joke. The other option would be to keep tabs on the druggy next door and keep a diary of regular visitors etc... that way you might be able to catch him out for the police e.g. dealing etc... Good luck either way

Good luck either way The interior pics are just about half the conservatory and kitchen, the whole property is very nice and very modern It's a fairly long walk, but within a 5-10 min drive, so close enough:D We sold the house next to the druggy years ago and it's taken this long to cover our loses and be able to get back on the ladder. Looks very nice It certainly is, Jen's fallen for it, so I am just hoping nothing goes wrong, fingers and toes crossed

Didn't read that bit sorry, shame you had to sell because of some smack head, but at least the worst thing old people will do is complain about your noisey cars:D 5-10mins is cool, any good surfing beaches nearby ? tomgeer
Congratulations. Nice kitchen. Bet the neighbours will love the supra Accepted not excepted though.... totally different meaning Oh they will, we recently bought in a quiet little village populated mainly by older retired people and they can't get enough of me firing up the supra at 7am should i choose to take it for a run to work. Congratulations mate, looks nice, shouldn't think you'll have any problems there.

Bet the neighbours will love the supra Accepted not excepted though.... totally different meaning The Supe generally gets good attention and its not to load, so hopefully won't cause to much head shaking:innocent: And my spelling is not something I would list as a strong point;), but thanks for pointing it out:p
DodgyRog
Kite surfing eh... Always wanted to get into that, do you ? Been wondering what sort of gear I should be looking for. I would love too, used to surf a bit, mainly Polzeath or Croyde, before either place became popular. They used to be nice quiet coves back in the day:rolleyes: Kite surfing looks great fun, but my fitness levels aren't what they used to be:taped: You should try popping down to Exmouth, if the tide and winds are right, there can be 30-40 kites out. Some of the top kite surfers practice down here, either on the estuary or on the break waves where the river currents hit the sea current. Always facinating to watch:cool:
