animal-z
a few weeks ago i caught someone with a 12" screwdriver trying to break into the wifes subaru , i grabbed my freind the aluminium baseball bat and chased him around the estate the police turned up and saw me walking around with a baseball bat in my hands, all they said was that as long as its for self defence its fine
Dnk
Sorry to hear this You can't leave anything anywhere these days, a van is just an easy target im afraid and unless you can either park it up in secure parking or empty out your tools every night you'll always be at risk to this. Paul372
more bad news commercial insurance on the van dont cover for tools and the damage done to the van is not worth claiming for because i will have to pay an excess and lose my no claims, but the police have decided to take some finger prints because so much stuff was taken
martini
Good luck with this. I hate hearing about people that have stuff stolen

Aero-M
Sorry to hear this, I do know how you feel. Mine has been broken into three times now. Only the first time tools were actually taken, to the sum of £3.5k. Hope they find the Fu**ers. I checked the local boot sales after mine were taken, but didn't find any. merckx
Vans are always vulnerable as the thieves have a good chance of finding valuable tools. I made a hidden cable operated internal lock for my van from some thick section steel.
