jayssupra
Hi i've just gone single and have just got my car back from the garage, i've just noticed that my HKS SSQV bov is not making any noise, you can put your hand over the bov and feel air coming out when you stop reving it but no sound, the garage has fitted it to my intercooler to turbo pipe and the vac pipe is of one of the pipes at the back of the engine, i now you can buy different fins to change the sound, but could my bov be fitted with a silent fin, or can you adjust it. You may have the recirc insert in the bov, http://76.163.32.26/images/HKS-BOV.jpg its the metal thing in the top right of the picture, you will know if you have it because the normal insert fins are 3 spoke and are in silver gold or purple, hope this helps
jayssupra
I have three silver fins in the dump valve mate, but like i say when i rev the car or drive it, it makes no sound at all, if i pull the pipe of the back of the dump valve it sucks air in all the time,

The little tube at the back of the BOV is what opens the valve whenever that tube sucks air (we call that vacuum). Typically, you should be under vacuum mainly when you shift gears. Where are you getting that air source from? Note that no other devices should be connected to that same tube.
