hodge
When I fitted the single with the veilside manifold I've struggled for references. I have everything conected apart from the bov and boost control solnoid. If I drill and tap the turbo compressor housing with 1/8npt and fit a -3an can I use this for a vacum for the boost solnoid and the bov. Cheers John
Homer
I don't know the reason for it but have always been advised to take the BOV reference from a damped line from the intake manifold, rather than the compressor. The reference for the boost solenoid must be taken from the compressor
Lee P
Bov should be in the manifold, the boost solenoid can be on the turbo. You should have a vac line going to the side port of your wastegate, T the solenoid in to that.

That was the reason, can remember the conversation now Turbo systems 101 stuff really!

I added the bov to it also and it wouldn't work as if there was too much going to the 1 reference. Does the vac line I/d effect the amount of references your able to take from 1 place.
