hodge
has anyone ever fitted 1 of these. Are they any good. They seem extremely cheap compared to the likes of boost logic etc. Linky below. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBX-Crank-Pulley-93-98-TOYOTA-SUPRA-3-0L-DOHC-Blue_W0QQitemZ400057119678QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item5d254333be&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C72%3A1205%7C240%3A1318 Thanks guys john
dandan
Hi John, I have never used any other crank pulleys other than Boostlogic or OEM. I have used OBX cam gears before and the quality was excellent - and I do mean excellent. This pulley you found is a single piece, non damped pulley (whereas the OEM, Boostlogic and ATI all have damping to help smooth out potentilly damaging harmonics in the crank). Unless you are looking for the absolute lightest rotating mass possible then I would stay away from this and stick with ATI or BL....or even the OEM one. Cheers Dan
hodge
Well that's what I was thinking dan tbh. Think I'll be going for the boost logic option I recon but I read somewhere they were discontinued.

"They are usually $445 but I match the price with what we sold our damper for at $419+$28 for the belt" Just need to add the delivery to that of course. I will be probably be ordering one shortly so could split the carriage if anyone is interested?
Chiefgroover
Hate that ATI pulley, often needs machined to fit and the bolts heads go before they come out later on. I have BL and sticking with it.

hodge
Thats a little worrying Anyone else had any bad experiences with the ATI pulley? Yeah this has worried me too. I think I may have a look around for a BL one first before I settle for a ATI. Ive never heard a bad report about 1 of them. Theres no way im gona fit a stock 1 or 1 I have to hone to fit either. Hopefully this time next year ill be somewhere in the region 700 BHP so its gota be perfect of I can prodict some catastrophic results......
