PJ
Can the idle control valve can be removed altogether when using the AEM EMS? It becomes redundant doesn't it? Can anyone confirm this for me please. Edited June 25, 2009 by PJ (see edit history)

JamieP
Id keep it. It wont be redundant but a good mapper can map around it, i removed it from my old supra and it was fine but i had to keep my foot just touching the peddle for the first few seconds before it would idle by itself when cold. TLicense
As has been said, keep it. I don't know about a good mapper being able map around it... a good mapper can fudge it more like! Unsuprisingly you need it to get a decent idle at varying engine and ambient temperatures.
