SupraTRD83
Right, recently once I get into the Supra I turn the key and sometimes there's just a click (nothing happens) but all the dash etc lights up as normal and the 2nd turn of the key the car starts and runs fine. Went out this morning to the same problem, turned and nothing, then the 2nd turn the whole dash lights went off. Now everytime I open a door the alarm sounds and when I insert the key to turn the ignition on there are no lights on the dash at all, everything has just gone dead. I have even tried to disarm the alarm using the in car box but even that doesnt work now. but for some reason the alarm still sounds and the interior light works still. turned off the interior light and the dash slightly lit up. Now if this is a flat battery im wondering why it is flat after using it last night fine, and why this trouble with starrting the car has happend anyway. If it is the battery that has been causing the 2 turns to get it going then how come it hasn't gone flat before now? really weird and hope you guys/girls can help me out AGAIN Cheers Dean

SupraTRD83
are the battery terminals on tightly Yeah mate, there on fine, car has been ok for quite a while apart from the misfire, the positive terminal does seem to have a lot of white powder on it though. Worth taking them off and giving them a good clean, does sound like a duff battery to me, you can get the battery checked to make sure with a drain down test
