Swampy442
So 7 years and 5 cars later Im leaving the bosom of Soarer ownership and departing on the 2JZ journey. I know its a bit crap but the wheels on the car will not be for sale with it. You can have the choice of standard 16" or some 18"s Photos to follow for those. Its totally standard as well, even the airbox. The car is a 92 twin turbo auto, in really good condition. Imported in 2005, I have the original import docs, nice touches like the Japanese Soarer handbook and service history, the small silver valet key. MOT runs to August 3rd (but I have no doubt it will breeze the test) tax to end of the month. Its got a good spec, with HID headlights, TRC/ABS, leccy seats, sun roof, rear wiper, cruise, even a cup holder and Soarer mats. Interior is in fair to good condition, door cards all good, but both window trims have a big crack in them, easy to replace. Centre vents have the usual cracking too. Absolutely everything works, the A/C is icy cold, the climate screen is mint, seats all work, mirrors etc, you get the idea. Exterior wise its pretty much perfect, no rust, not dings, dents or scratches. Apart from the rear bumper has some battle scars and the boot spoiler has a section of paint missing (see pics) A hundred quid at your local body shop would sort it. Now the best bit, the drive. Its flawless, no squeaks, rattles, knocks or taps, I actually enjoy driving with the stereo off just to enjoy the silence. Serviced by me, all fluids including diff have been replaced, its almost at its 3k engine oil change now. So thats pretty much it, any inspection welcomed, test too but with me driving How much then I hear you ask? Id like £1500 ono please. Emphasis on the ono lol Call or text on 07961 821205 Pictures tell 1000 words so here you go. Thanks, Craig

Swampy442
Bit of an edit, just checked the paperwork, it was registered on the 18th May 2006, and had done 114,609kms when imported, currently on 125,000 kms. So if it was converted on the day it landed its done at most 11,000 miles in 3 years.
Hobgoblin
Brings back a few memories, looking nice in white. My old one was dark blue, and the previous owner had blacked out the windows. I remember my missus said I looked like a pimp im it. I thought it best not to ask how she knew what a pimp looked like! Good luck with the sale. 1JZGTE
Lovely example mate. You see many Soarers, but not many with TRC and electric seats! Usually you get teh poverty spec ones that has shite trim and no electric luxuries.

Swampy442
Last bump before the weekend. To make it more attractive its now got a years MOT, which of course it breezed As stated before if you pay the full £1500 asking price the Advans will be included
SteveR
I raise my offer 5% and expect your call immeiately. Seriously, I know it was a low offer and I was careful to try to avoid causing any offence when you asked me for it, but it is an offer non-the-less should you decide you don't want to hold on for the asking price indefinitely. To be honest I think you'll struggle to sell it in this board and you would be better focussing promotional activity elsewhere: in terms of the type of car it is, such as it's benefits and limitations, the Soarer isn't a million miles from the Supra, and most people an here have that type of car in their life already (or plan to, by getting a Supra). I'm not meaning to be down, just figuring out why the lack of interest for what looks like a good car. Free bump!
Swampy442
Let me think about it for a sec... Ok thought about it lol. Still a no sadly. Its advertised all over the place, save for the 'bay which will be the next port of call. I reckon its just the market at the moment, thats why its not selling. I mean, 1500 quid, thats nothing for a car which has such potential. Id like to price it about 4k personally! However everyone sees them going for 800 quid and assumes thats the going rate. I do see your point though re MKIV.net, just another way to put it out there But bottom line is, Id like to sell it but I dont need to, dont need the cash. Its just Ive got nowhere to store it, and its the best driving Soarer out of the 5 Ive owned. Thanks for the bump though

Swampy442
Yes it has mate, such a waste of a great car But hey, money is money.
SteveR
Odd choice for a sprint car - it's an auto, quite heavy, low power:weight Vs some of the more obvious choices for the same sort of budget. I reckon you can sleep easy Alex!
