gordy07
I bought a road angel from ebay last week and the description said "road angel plus" But that was not the case, when it arrived i could clearly see it was a road angel 2 and not the plus:( I then went to try it in the supe and discovered the charger did not fit either,it was like a nokia car charger the guy had thrown in. Not happy!!!!! So i contacted the seller and he said "yes it is a plus and the charger fitted when i had it etc" I have asked him if i can send it back and he said he will refund me once he receives the item back:blink: Where do i stand if he decides to just keep my cash:search: Oh i paid with paypal

JamesG
In that situation, PayPal would probably repay you. But you have to remember to send it back recorded delivery, as PayPal needs to see the signature.

Place a paypal dispute, send it back via recorded delivery and paypal will be on your side

JamesG
Open the dispute first What's the dispute? The seller has agreed to refund after receiving the item back. Sounds reasonable to me.
ronttuk
Open the dispute with ebay and paypal 1st contact paypal to make sure he has the funds to re emburse you before you send the item back, i had a problem like this sent the item back the seller had already withdrawn his funds for a £175 transaction i got 87p back and paypal told me as soon as funds were in the sellers account they would refund me the rest, and of course the seller has never used that paypal account again. if you paypal account uses funds off a credit card contact the credit card comp and start action through them aswell, if its paypal funds you might lose out if its a debit card uve got to hope he has funds to refund you or your screwed

Because if he sends it back and the seller refuses to pay out he doesnt have a leg to stand on. At least if he goes through paypal there is a chain and everything can be traced
