Hey Im trying to repair my Loom ready for my engine, its knackered, its been cut up for a single install and im trying to fix it to run my TTs again..

I need help with the wiring colours for the two VSVs at the back of the Exhaust side of the engine (the left as you look at it..)

Basically i know that each has a Red/Black wire, but could someone tell me the other colours? I need to know which colour does which VSV and where they are in the connector ie Black/Red on the left as its plugged in etc.. To make it easier a Photo might help if easier than describing..

can someone help asap? Im ready to do the work now so any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards JT

Sorry Jody, I know it is my loom you're now suffering with, if it's any consolation, the car drove amazing at Llandow yesterday

in that case Jody has no hope! ;) :innocent:

To be fair ive repaired all but these two connector blocks, it was a right mess but its sitting prety on the engine now :) Ill just have to hope it all works lol..

Hi Jody

If it's just the VSV wiring left (2 wires each) and you know which wires go to each VSV, you should be OK to have either orientation in the connector. As each VSV is a solenoid which isn't fussy on the direction of the current, the polarity shouldn't matter.

Good Luck

Yeah thanks Andy, I know what you mean.. I just wanted to repair the loom to Back to standard, Ie the way toyota did it.. I think i know the orientation but wanted someone to confirm visually with there own car..

If i know that there is 'Nothing' wrong with the loom, if i have any troubles i can discount at least the loom lol..
