Jamesy W
I'm needing a quick bit of info........ I've had mine for about a month or so now, but I have never been able to charge it via the mains, I have just been using the pc. I'm heading off in the morning for a weekend in Dublin, and I don't fancy trying to fit my pc into the bag, so can anyone shed some light on this please? Whitesupraboy2
you can get plug adapters that allow you to plug usb leads into them, to charge from mains. Sounds like your mains plug charged is bust to me.
Abz
I have one... you should be able to charge it through the mains! The charger you have is it a Apple one? Or a replia from same eBay? Do you know anyone else who has a iphone mains charger which you can test with? Could be your mains charger is dead (please do not test with your tongue). Multics
You normally get a mains adapter with it. The same usb cable that you connect your iphone to your computer plugs to the mains adapter. - Edit: I type too slow

Jamesy W
Tried changing the fuse on the underside? Just tried that, nothing still. The thing practically brand new, but I can recall it working the first time round and never since.

Apple are pretty flexible to replace stuff, you going by any Apple stores on your travels? Because you could just pop in and tell them and they should be able to swap you out another. They might just check with your phone thats its still under a year old. Least that way you can defo confirm it is the charger.

It's apparently rather common, well it appears so anyway after a quick google.
