Ark
OK, I've got some new coilovers installed, and they have been fitted with both locking collars wound down onto the ride height adjuster at the bottom. Apparently the force of the spring pushing onto the spring seat automatically locks that. Is this right? Sounds fair, but I'm not sure if it's spurious logic or not. Thanks. mark newman
i just fitted bc coilovers to mine. but the two locking collars are up the top .under the spring. and there is one locking collar on the ride height.
uk-rich
the 2 collars should be locked against one another under the spring, and one collar locked against the ride height adjuster

Ark
Cheers - HSD coillys only have two locking collars, so one top and one bottom I guess.

Chris Wilson
Like this is correct. Two locked together rings under the spring, one to lock the height adjustment.
