Swampy442 Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Need a little help from some 2JZ gurus Ive got a 92 Mk1 Aristo, 2JZ GTE auto Car has cat back system, ARC airbox and thats it mod wise. Car starts, idles well with A/C on or off whether engine is hot or cold. Problem starts when you drive, car performs fine on part or full throttle up to 2.5k rpm then bogs down, labours until the second turbo comes in at about 4k. Im not sure if the problem is still there after turbo 2 kicks in because Im still new to Aristo world, but it goes well enough as far as Im concerned. Boost is good on both turbos, up to .8bar Straws clutched at so far :- IACV removed and cleaned, coil packs/spark plugs changed, TPS changed, ignitor unit changed, ECU reset a few times, several dirty looking plugs disconnected and cleaned.
