Pete
All sorted, seems ok so far! Pete, sounds like you had an even older version on your touch, and it had to get 2.2.1 before it would allow you to get 3.0 It was definitely already on 2.2.1, second time around it was fine though. T2 MSW
Word of warning. Take a manual backup of data on your iphone prior to doing an upgrade. Ive just lost all my contacts and apps etc as the backup process failed and then the upgrade to 3 succeded so the only version it thinks it can restore to is base line factory defualts at version
