Robert
OK my new UK TT had some OZ wheels that required spacers to fit over the UK brakes, now i have my racing hart's here i want to fit without spacers. When going to fit the wheel the rears went on fine as i think the studs are stock length. The front studs are longer and i can tighten two different sets of wheel nuts and even when fully tight there is a gap between the wheel and hub. Now what are my option? can i get longer wheel nuts or will i have to fit some stock studs. I nearly attempted to cut a few mm's off but thought better of it
Dyer864
If you're going to take off longer wheel studs, and replace with stock length ones, i'll buy them off you if selling mate .
dude
get some nuts that have open ends or cut the top off yours so the studs can poke thru
Robert
cheers mate, i was thinking the same, just have to find a tapered set that have open heads, the stock ones are flat.
JamieP
Open end nuts will work if you are using the type you can get a socket on. If you need center drive nuts with the racing harts you will have to change back to stock studs.
