Kopite
Wage packet - 6 year deal worth £106 million, average of £556k/week
Guest Budz86
As a Utd fan I will be sorry to see him go as he has made a massive difference to the club. But, I can't fault the logic at selling him for £80m. Let's just see what new talent Fergie finds...Ribery would be nice
Scott
Wage packet - 6 year deal worth £106 million, average of £556k/week Is that for real? He is being paid 556k per week? Or does that include the 80 million transfer?
Kopite
Got it off yahoo, his own wage packet according to the report (assuming i've not read it wrong!) http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/12062009/58/premier-league-ronaldo-s-106m-pay-bonanza.html Real are expected to offer a structured deal starting at £183,000-a-week, but with a 25 per cent rise every season seeing his pay soar above half a million pounds every week in the final year of his contract. Based on current exchange rates, Ronaldo's will be the fifth-largest contract in sports history behind four baseball deals. The biggest belongs to Alex Rodriguez, who signed a 10-year, $275m (£167m) deal with the New York Yankees in 2008, equating to an average annual salary of £16.7m; slightly less than Ronaldo. R Black
Wage packet - 6 year deal worth £106 million, average of £556k/week So the tax he will be paying on it goes back to the Spanish govetnment who indirectly funded it,so the govt gets tax credits on its purchase lol
