hogmaw
Looks like he is off for good now! I am no ManU fan but I do like good football and he is one of the best ever, so I will be sad to see him gone, theatrics aside. It was just a matter of time

peter richards
i find it funny that supporters or so they call themselves , quick now to slag him off because hes leaving , why not just appreciate what hes done for the club and leave it at that . every genius has his/her faults thats what makes them so special sort of part of the package . im sure 80 mill wont go to waste . Matt H
every genius has his/her faults thats what makes them so special sort of part of the package . im sure 80 mill wont go to waste . He's far from a Genius. He's an exceptional footballer though, one of the best in the world. Terrible attitude on pitch though. im sure 80 mill wont go to waste I'm pretty sure it will, on another over inflated player purchase and salary. If there is one thing for certian in this charade is that 80million pounds will, categorically, be comparatively and undoubtably wasted. Many exceptional players aare flawed, look at Rooney he has temperament issues, Berbatov is a lazy f*#$er & has motivational issues, just to name two. Dnk
Totally appreciate his skill but the other side of his game is way worse than Rooney losing his wrag, why does he need to cheat ? Cant say im too bothered where he plays
Rob Dublin
Good riddance, can't stand the look on his face when the cheating *expletive* dives on the ground. Glad he got a lesson from Puyol the other night.

Scott
The guy is a footballing god and i don't think there is a team in the world, or a supporter, that wouldn't welcome into their team open armed. He is EASILY the best player in the world at the moment although his attitude is actually devolving his quality of play. Reminds me a lot of ronaldinho, while he had the drive and the hunger he was spectacular, as soon as the money, fame etc goes to their head they just can't be bothered anymore. I think Man U have just done the deal of the century. Sold a player at his peak, just before he starts to go down hill, and made an absolute MINT on it. RED_ROCKET
Its a running trend with talented footballers. Over-rated players end up in America only in there final years as they try and grasp even more money from the game
RiceRocket
Another chance to post me Ronaldo pic http://img455.imageshack.us/img455/8762/ronaldo1uckb0.gif Still only one Ronaldo:- http://english.people.com.cn/200606/29/images/0628_A59.jpg He is EASILY the best player in the world at the moment although his attitude is actually devolving his quality of play. Plus I reckon Fergie will be lucky to get 40m of the Ronaldo cash due to the club debt
Scott
Nah Messi is the best, it's just unofficial. Thats an opinion though, some will share it some will disagree. I'm the latter Ronaldo is still 3-4yrs from his peak years. I disagree here also but not for the same reasons as i think you have. Yes he is potentially 3-4 years away from his peak but i think due to the media, fame, fortune, attitude, etc etc etc he will never reach his potential peak. I actually believe he has started to dip in form. Its possible that playing so long with Man U has caused this though, perhaps he just didn't have the drive with the side anymore and maybe the change will re-inspire him. Plus I reckon Fergie will be lucky to get 40m of the Ronaldo cash due to the club debt Agreed Its funny, with any side up here in Scotland 40m would be an absolute goldmine. Probably better described as "free reign". It just shows how ridiculous the money is in football nowadays (i would say with the larger clubs but the money is even ridiculous at the smaller teams)
snake
120k a week for footballers kicking a ball around a field.?A surgeon in a hospital who fixes people and changes lives probably gets that a year.I can appreciate their skill as a footballer and the short career they have but the money they get paid is taking the p!55 . tomgeer
I am very pleased. Nobody they could buy in will live up to his standards and goal ratios, with the possible exception of Messi, who would never go anyway. Win win situation for us non Utd fans, I can't believe it, brilliant.
