I am selling my much loved supra with much regret and if I could I would keep this beast forever believe me I would, over the years she has caused no problems what so ever, without doubt this is the most reliable and fun car I have owned, there aren’t many cars around that boast high performance and reliability.

The service records are absolutely immaculate with a fully stamped service book, she has been serviced on the dot at the correct intervals for all the ‘A’ & ‘B’ services per the service schedule along with the intermediate oil changes that fall between. Since I have had the car I have been using only ‘Silkoline’ Engine oil ‘Pro S 5W-40’ as recommended by Opie Oils, along with V160 transmission oil for the getrag 6 spd box. I also use shell optimax petrol only. This car has been looked after with no cost spared and is in lovely nick for a car of almost 13 years old, I also have a email from the original owner to find out about the cars history needless to say he also loved the car.

I had fitted a double din touch screen Kenwood DVD player as the Toyota system was a bit dated, however I still have the original stereo if you want it.

The only thing to point out is there is a slight mark on the door that is hardly noticeable (see picture), and the alloys could do with a refurb.

I would really like this rare origional beast go to somebody on this forum that I know will treat it with all the TLC I have given over the years, the car isn’t happy unless it gets polished every week!. I can’t think of anything else but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask. If you want anymore pics emailed please let me know.

£13,995.00

Dan

Hi guys, thanks for all the comments - the car is a real beuty, really sad to be selling, it is the car origionally purchased from Neville Johnston, I know i can get a bit more for her but would like her to go quick or i will just end up changing my mind again :D, I wont be taking a penny less than the asking price as i think it has been priced very well for this rare car.

cheers

reminds me how i bought mine 6 months ago, price is right dont take a penny less.

Mine is exactly the same car but more mile's and was also originally first registered in Ireland as RDZ 1801.

I've Had quite a bit of interest so far mainly from people who have no idea what a uk spec is trying to barter, a couple of serious enquirys, needless to say both abroad one from Germany one from France, don't worry mate won't let it go for a penny less she's defo worth this... :-)

It contains all the relevant information to verify the car as European spec. It makes registration in France straight forward. The car must match the C of C in every respect but as your car is standard there's no problem. Wheel/tyre sizes are a common problem - they need to be original size. You get a C of C from Toyota in France* and they fleece you for 150€ if I remember correctly. They don't need to see the car, the VIN is enough.

Edit: *if you are selling it to France.

20k not a peeny less

 just out of interest what would you value a Jap manual tt of the same mileage spec (where poss, obviously the import won't have the 'uk only' bits and bobs) but a little newer? A low mile Uk car may well have a premium over imports but i think a >£5K premium is a bit much no?

the problem is the history and mileage clarification and the way it was treated crashed damaged sprayed etc.personally i wouldn touch a jap import.

Odd opinion :)

I'd value the UK TT in question at £18k in the current climate, but might fetch more if it's something special (spotless underneath etc)

The big difference here is that UKs are in limited supply, if you lose a J-Spec you can replace it with something identical in 24 hours, not so with these increasingly rare examples.

The key thing here is whether you want the UK over the J-Spec, if you do and you want something specific then you might be expected to pay a true market price for a car like this rather than one that's been rapidly reduced due to the influx of 10000's near-identical imports.

Maybe.
