Ola !

Had my Supra for about a month now and one which which is really bugging me is the car sounding like a bloody HGV when i am reversing with that nutty beeping noise.

Is this a JDM feature? Reason i ask as the MR2's i had were J-spec and neither of them had the thing.

Is there any way to remove it without too much hassle? Ta

I was given courtsey car from EuroSpec and this was an imported Celica which had (94) this beeping noise when reversing, my Supe has it as well, looks like it was an JDM thing for Auto's. Best thing is every passenger who hears it goes... "Ohhhh you got reverse parking sensors", I am like "Yep, they come as standard" =D

"On mine, I found it behind the dash. If you remove the dash in the normal

way and then completely remove the speed/rev/fuel/temp dash arrangement

you'll find a little grey plug-in adapter on the back of the circuit board.

Just take it off and thats it. All it does is take power from the back of

the rev counter."
