Guest Rays the roof
To be fair, I'd throw bottles of piss if I was watching Metallica. At them yes!! I believe you should throw: knickers at Tom Jones, Mobile phone numbers at Girls Aloud And a grenade at El Divo But dilute golden syrup at young women in front of you...NOW WAY!! RedM
I too go to a few extreme metal gigs a year and have only seen piss being thrown once, but that was at Donnington Monsters of Rock festival in '88 Was that when 'Tallica were second to last band on. ACDC as headliners? If so, I was there. Anyhoo, been to hundreds (literally) of punk and hardcore gigs. Never been spat on, wee'd on or seen bottle of it getting thrown about. We must be more cultured.
chris2o2
Where were you standing and at what venues? If you were right at the front its likely you may not have noticed as the idiots are towards the rear, but not quite the back normally lobbing them forward. If you went to small initimate venues its far less likely to happen. At the o2 arena/wembley arena/brixton academy it WILL happen with a floor standing crowd. Im usually as far forward as i can get . Carling Academy , Braehead arena , King Tuts , The Barra's and the ABC mainly . Maybe its an English thing
Animal
No, it was: Helloween Megadeth Guns 'n' Roses Dave Lee Roth Kiss Iron Maiden It was the year one of the vid screen towers collapsed and a couple of kids got killed. I think it was postponed for the next couple of years

TLicense
The relatively few gigs I've been to have all had people throwing bottles and cups of p**s around. At a few like the Foo Fighters at Hyde Park, and the Chilli's at Madjesky stadium, it was almost like the heavens had opened and there was a constant yellow drizzle. Snooze
Well, there was absolutely no urine throwing at The Handsome Family gig I went to a couple weeks back.
martini
Now I think about it, there was probably piss being thrown at the academy the other night. What is wrong with people?
Chris Wilson
If you go to Manchester to watch ex Burnage "entertainers" I think you got just what any right minded person could have told you to expect Heaton Park wasn't it? Nice.....
AndrewOW
It was a very pleasant affair at the Muse at Wembley Stadium in 2006. I didn't detect any bodily fluids in the air at all that evening. Sorry to say
creative
my mate went. he enjoyed it, did mention a few things getting chucked about. He was more pissed off at the fact the genny blew up and there werent enough coaches on at the end and he had to walk 5 miles back to his car that was in a park and ride bit. he's suppose to be getting his money back though
Jamesy W
The same thing happened the last time I was in manchester to see them. My mate "Gorgeous George" got drenched in pee twice, then scudded over the head with a soggy banana.
Guigsy
A great night out and no piss. (Once Front of House sound remembered to turn up Guigsy's bass after the 3rd song) Dumb feckers.
Kopite
I went on Thursday and had the same, plus random fighting and also some very distasteful anti-Liverpool songs which i had to show my annoyance at General scum of the earth there that night (yes myself included), the amount of people pissing and shitting on people's cars / gardens / houses on the way back was equally disgusting

She said they ram over the 11pm deadline on Thursday and got a £3M fine. Is this true??

Dont know about the fine but that figure sounds like the amount they are going to lose in ticket refunds etc etc
Tannhauser
Well, I've never seen it happening at the opera, even when the principals are a bit weak. Honestly, you read a thread like this and realise the desperate need to genetically engineer a virus that selectively kills people with vile manners. I live in clifton down the marina so its just forests and fields in between me and whitefield , It did go on late on thursday because of an electrical problem and they have refunded everyone. Im unsure about the fine thou 3mil sounds alot.
Animal
The £3m is what it would cost them if everyone asked for a refund, a lot of people were happy enough with the concert so it'll be a lot less than that. Don't know what the fine was off hand. They made my guitarist late for work the next day - he lives in Burnage and the power cut reset his alarm clock, lol.
