Moving on from Supra

Listen, if you had went out with a girl that blew your mind everyday, why not just let her blow your mind once a week and marry her? Build a shrine for your supra and park it inside, and in the meantime, buy an economical runaround and see it as a mistress.

Whilst searching i found an NSX that caught my eye, more my kind of thing :)

They look seriously dated, however have always had a soft spot for them.

Bro in law is selling an mint Evo6 Tommy if interested.

I think he means on the track they understeer at the limit so aren't as fun/entertaining...........I'm sure it could be sorted by a few tweaks but out of the box the supra is perhaps more neutral re over/understeer

The Supra also understeers on track at the limit....assuming you are driving it to its full potential.

Toyota engineered understeer into the car before the back lets go.

Out of the list if you are wanting a different experience from the Supra but something that will still give a smile then go for an Evo 8 (not the 7).

Although I've have an Evo 6 and have never driven a 7, judging by many reactions on the MLR forum, it seems the Evo 7 is one of the least desirable of the Evo range.

An Evo8 or a 6 would be good fun. Go for an 8 if you can afford that little extra, you will have a newish car that 'should' be very reliable.

Or a 6 where you can save a bit of money but still get a good fun car.

IF you plan to do some track driving and/or like to get the car sliding around, then go for the RS versions !

Or a GSR that has had an RS diff fitted. The last thing you want is the AYC kicking in all the time taking away the fun. (And it will also mean you won't need to change its oil every 4500 miles).

Evo6 looks dated imho, and looks abit gash

If i stretched to an 8 i may get a pig for the money id spend which is why i was going for a 7

And things like a 350z turbo are out of the question, the idea is for it to be a reliable daily/fun car, i use my s13 for track use

Ive had a DC5 and it was a great drive - had it nearly 2 years and never failed to put a smile on my face! Was so sad when I parted company with it. Good performance, reliability and economy too, but just lacks torque!

My brothers had an RX8 and they are juicy as hell....he was at the petrol station every other day it seemed, and to be honest, didnt find it as exciting as the RX7, as its n/a.

My brothers now got the FN2 civic, and that is a fantastic car, loads of gadgets and quite quick too. I was never a fan of them and thought Honda was going backward by not using the independent rear suspension, but it does SERIOUSLY handle well! (and even keeps up with my n/a Supe in a straight line) [OOPS][/OOPS]

Id say DC5 (but I am biased) :eyebrows:
