Was a fantastic night bud. The weather behaved itself thankfully, couple of small showers but nothing to worry about. Ended up 11 of us going, a guy from the MR2OC had a weekend of camping planned for his birthday but called the Friday off due to weather so came along with us instead. Car count... 2 supra's, 4 MR2's and a van lol.

 

The night was hilarious, casualties included me twisting my ankle and me cutting myself with a can... fun fun fun.

 

Chris's mate fell in a little burn, pulled himself out... then fell back in again. Lots of pics, including the birthday boy's (45 lol) midnight dip in the loch.

Sorry mate forgot all about this.

 

Ok so it was one of the guy's from the MR2OC forums birthday on the sunday. He promised that on the stroke of midnight he would go into the loch for a swim. Noone believed him but i thought he was serious. Turns out he was.

 

We came prepared with our own firewood. My mate has his hand in a home improvements company so he brought along a load of old doors. One of them was solid but the trusty saw made quick work of it. Ellis (guy from MR2OC) was lying on one against a log like a sunbed when it snapped in half. Everyone was wetting themselves at this.

 

There were some chavvy twats just up the road from us camping. We were all in our kips when they decided it would be a good idea to get up and rev the shit out of their corsa. It was 5.30 in the morning and they literally woke up the whole campsite. They then decided to take a drive and started "rallying" the car around the carpark. After a few mins there was a large bang. The twats had hit a tree. Unbelievably they reversed the car out of the ditch/tree and then proceeded to continue driving around the carpark like twats. Next day we surveyed the damage, 57 plate corsa with rear quarter panel mashed, door fooked, wing mirror gone, front arch mashed, wheels bashed and sideskirt lying on the road. This was funny enough until my wife came over saying she had oveheard one of them saying to another "chic, chic, wake up mate. Someone crashed your car last night" LMFAO the idiot that crashed wasn't even the owner of the car. Either he had given them the keys for a "shot" or the twat took the keys when his mate passed out.

 

My mate brought along a 300w amp, proper sound system speakers (like the ones people use at karaoke's) and a 240v inverter for the van. I hand't really explained that we couldn't park right at the tents so it was all going to be a bit of a waste. I then realised that i had one of those little battery booster pack things so we thought we would give that a go. I thought it would work for half an hour to an hour, my wife thought 1 song maybe. Turns out, with 1 speaker in it lasted all bloody night. And that wasn't quiet. Once the alcohol started flowing properly we went out and grabbed the 2nd speaker, typical guys, and hooked that up to double the output. At one point we were playing "Do Wah Diddy". The song was turned up for "there she was just a walking down the street singing" and then we turned it right down only to hear the rest of the campsite joining in with "Do wah diddy diddy dum diddy do". It was hilarious. We even hooked it all up the next day and listened to some music while chilling. Those little booster packs are life savers in these scenario's.

 

Chris (chris202 on here) and his mate were hilarious. The banter between them was like statler and waldof from the muppets. A little later on his mate was absolutely blitzed and at one point he fell in a little burn. He was soaked through and covered in mud as he climbed out. He stood up only to fall backwards into the same burn again. We couldn't move for laughing.

 

I almost broke my ankle when i stood on a little bottle and my ankle twisted down only for me to stand on it pissed. I had to get carried about for the first hour of the next day, fun fun fun.

 

Cocktail of the night was vodka, redbull, jagermeister, cointreau & lager. Was yummy.

It looked a right good laugh. Sorry i couldnt join you lot, i was up north on holiday with the wife.Whereabouts were you staying? I stay 5 minutes from Balloch at the bottom end of the loch.
