AndrewOW
Is that the cheaper option in the long run? I make very limited calls/texts. I bought the 3g iPhone on PAYG for £391, then went on to this: http://www.o2.co.uk/explore/tariffs/paymonthly/simplicity It's very easy to set up. They send you another SIM card and you pick the tariff you want, with any bolt ons too.
Pabs
how does the free internet work on a PAYG contract? Do you need to pay for it, as I know iPhones are on "special" iPhone contracts to include this.... Edit: It's ok - think I found it. Extra £7.34/month for unlimited web.... on top of a contract price, with what I use, works out at virtually the same price as a normal iPhone contract anyway. Decisions decisions... martini
Just make sure you don't need to register your UDID first... or you'll have a brick for a week.

I believe not from a friend who says he has performed it. I nearly bought into the SDK months ago to get 3.0, but the beta had too many bugs. I was laughing at many who downloaded it illegally and realised you had to register your UDID with the scheme

My friend in Japan is a dev. It's good software.
