Guigsy
My "Active" spoiler isnt active as i have a FMIC. It got dammaged and i removed it to repair it. Now (3-4 months later) i cant remember how it was fitted. I have had a look and i cant see how to get it attached back up there. Added to this fact i think it was attached where the small black lip meets the bumper. but when the spoiler broke it pulled the bolts through the plastic. So i dont think i can attach it there any more... Any alternate mounting options anyone has? Pictures would be great!!

RobD
i have the spoiler fitted to mine but can't for the life of me find the plugs behind the dash , its all plugged in on the motor side so its got to be there somewhere . Not necessarily , some find the motor plug but not the plugs behind the dash! Get in touch with garfy! He's making me a loom up to wire it in manually! Guigsy , the brackets that hold the motor and mechanism up bolts on just before the toe eye brackets! Is it a problem with the lip your having trouble to attach? If so i'll take a pic of where mine bolts onto the undertray/ mechanism tomorrow if you want!
Guigsy
This might help Guigsy Almost but not quite. I have a big blitz FMIC in the way so the motor and all the mechanisms arnt in place any more. All i have is the plastic blade bit. the metal bit it attaches too and the brackets on each end. Previously it was bolted into the existing black lip on the bumper with some spacer bits of alu that makes its sit at the right level. basicly the 3 bits in this pic (blade, 3 reinforcements and the mounting plate) My 3 reinforcement bits are knackerd though. RobD
Have a word with Jamie P , He had his active front lip on his with a FMIC , pretty sure I read that he had it screwed to the lower bumper lip, maybe wrong though!

Yeah. i fear the lip is screwed though. ill have to remove the bumper. reattach the lip to the bumper properly and then mount the active spoiler
