steady_dave
I'm talking to a friend regarding Supra Turbo's I'm led ot believe that J-spec turbo's are steel and UK spec Turbo's are ceramic. My friend believes the opposite. Who's right?

TrickTT
Only the exhaust side is ceramic on J specs. Cold side is steel on UK and J specs.

Konrad
I want a Porsche...... You do not have a look for a Porsche. Besides converting NA to TT would cost you less then front brakes for Porsche, unless you are going for some cheap imitation of real thing like Boxster or so... dangerous brain
PFFF this whole my UK tubbies can take 1.5 bar b*ll*x is exactly that. My J-spec tubbies ran 1.6 bar at times, until the boost spikes were fixed. Doesn't mean it had more power than at 1.1 bar. The dyno plot proved the point, 1.15 bar produced best power which tailed off immediately it went over that. True I could have tweaked the boost up more but it would only have produced less power. little num
yeh 1.5bar i normally run 1.35 and yes if i turn the boost up i can notice an intstant powergain from low down and top end pulls so much better when turned up. If you kept your foot down for age's then the boost air would be that hot you would start to loose power, but for short race's with porche turbo's its great.
