To add to that, the sound makes a lot of the movie. More so than a LOT of movies i have seen.

The choppers & aircraft arriving, going past were just phenominal.

Felt EVERYTHING before seeing it.

I might need to buy a proper setup before watching it again lol. So much would be missing.

I too went and saw it yesterday.. and have to agree with the above.

The film itself was very good and I would say like T1... no where near T2 and miles ahead of T3.... but the sounds of those aircraft was awesome... I remember thinking at the start I hope they turn the volume up as it was a little quiet.... Fook me they did!

I wasnt bored at any point in the film and it was defo worth going to see at the cinema... either that or you have to have an amazing sound system at home

Fookin fantastic Im so citeds, I thought the trailers looked incredible even though the critics slated it in places - the only thing I thought was going to ruin it is the 12 rating or whatever it was as it's a TERMINATOR movie for Christ sake and HAS TO be an 18. That's why T3 blowed compared to T1 and T2.

T1 was historical for its time but T2 is one of my fave all time films, so T3 was a dissapointment following it but still alright for something to see. It was expected though after changing the cast because Eddie Furlong was off his face on gear and more importantly James Cameron wasn't involved.

Love Christian Bale recently, I thought that was a superb piece of casting, I hope it joins 1+2 in history where the Terminator franchise should be.

Not a fan? I think the guy is superb! Love every film he is in and i think he, almost, single handedly saved the batman franchise.

i think he is a goos actor in the right place, i just dont think this is it. i agree he is ok in batman as bruce wayne but his acting as batman is OTT and appauling :) i am sure its supposed to be like that though

Film didn't do it for me or my lad, found it too hard to follow and some big holes in the story line.Bring on Transformers and Megan Fox

plot holes? I thought it was pretty fluent. The wife followed it fine, that speaks volumes lol.

Can also confirm; went to see it Friday with mate, we both heard about the "not so good reviews" and came out of the film amazed at what we had just seen.

Yes, Bale is VERY moody in this film, but then massive robots trying to kill the whole of humanity is hardling going to put a smile on ones face  :eow:

Plot was very easy to follow and FX :faint:

So for me: 8/10 :D

Now bring on Transformers 2

saw this yesterday, very disappointed the plot hardly follows sarah connor chronicles or the third film or the salvation PC game!

Shame really, as visually it was amazing. i didnt really understand the marcus wright situation as surely Kyle would have said somthing about this this in t1!

Anyone else see the trailer for Hangover, looks like it could be a laugh.

Looks hilarious, deffo one for the list :D

As a movie it was amazing! Wasn't sure what to expect after T3, which was an epic fail! But it has a few twists in it, some flaws, and some suprises too!

Big fan of T1 and T2, so good to see it follows history quite well. Don't want to say anything else in fear of spoiling it, so I'll leave it for you to find out! :D

If you are reading this you are part of the resistance :D

Saw it on Saturday and WOW thought it was amazing i'm a big terminator fan and thought this film went great together with T1 & T2. 10/10, plot really easy to follow if you've seen t1 & 2 fx amazing too, looked like they'd built the robots for the film and wern't CGI. Going to watch it again this week as i've seen T2 100's of times and think this could be the film to beat it roll on the othere 2 films

Because like John said "I knew it. I knew it was coming. But this is not the future my mother warned me about. And in this future, I don't know if we can win this war." e.g the future it's always changing so Kyle in T1 might of had a different past/future to the kyle in T4. Hope that helps

yay someone else that noticed the little touches i was mentioning. I think a few on here have missed out on some little bits and bobs. I know i will have so i look forward to watching it again.

Its not a hard flick to follow but you need to pay attention to the little details that knit the story together.

There is one thing i couldn't quite work out but i'll start a new thread for that as it might be seen as a bit of a spoiler.
