pistonbroke
Blimey, thats a very open ended load of questions, and there is no definitive answer for any of them. I strongly suggest you search the forums as there is a wealth of information available to you.
AJI
15-20k will buy you a very good condition low milage Supra. Or you may want to buy one that has already been modded and build from there. Whatever the choice there are many questions and answers already given if you'd like to search using key words.
Kirk
hes american, 15 -20k us dollars would get you either a mint condition NA or a half decent TT if your lucky, they go for round 30-40k for a mint one over the pond. 600hp reliably, built bottom end, single turbo conversion, fuel system, standalone engine management system and a good tuner
Guest Shawn-
remember i said in a year or 2, im guessing they will be little bit cheaper then they are now?

Kirk
depends, demand on these things these days is quite high so i cant see it dropping to much in cost. Naturaly aspirated, in other words NON turbo
Guest Shawn-
ahh ok. how much would i be looking to spend to do those mods?
Kirk
i hope you got deep pockets mate. For those sort of mods your probly looking at 10-15k possibly more. Best people to speak to in the states are SOUND PERFORMANCE, BOOST LOGIC and POWERHOUSERACING.

Kirk
if im honest you may struggle to find a 6speed for that sort of money. If you do find a TT then most likely be an AUTO for that price otherwise you will have to settle for an NA manual or Auto
Guest Shawn-
ok, well thanks
AJI
well as with any car .... try and get the best condition platform for what you aim to do with it in the future. If you're planning on modding it up to be a good track car then go for a 6-speed TT, if you want to mod it up for shows then best condition body work etc., or if for drag racing then maybe an auto TT would be best for you? Between now and buying your car spend as much time as you can on research and price watching, this will eventually give you the ammo to make the right choice. Also try to test drive the different models if you get the chance.
