Jake
Where my Xbox is now it's not gonna be easy to run a network cable to. But a lot of wireless stuff is frankly rubbish (the 'wireless' webcam I bought can't see my WLAN unless it's within 12 foot of my router) So, anyone on here have any experience with wireless network cards for the XBox360? Any in particular to go for/avoid ? Are they straightforward to set up? Do they work OK for media streaming movies directly from a PC on the same LAN - or can't they manage a high enough bitrate? Thanks for any advice.
Mike
You mean this one? http://images.play.com/covers/719752x.jpg I've had one since I bought the XBox (nearly three years) - it's never missed a beat, and is at the furthest point away from my router (all my internal walls are brick). I would recommend.
edd_t
same here, my 360 wireless thingy is great. obviously if you can keep the wired option go for that, its faster in the long run. but there's no probs with the wireless dongle thingy. JohnnyW
They aren't cheap but definitly are worth the money as it's a very good wireless adapter. Very reliable even when working on a low-ish signal strength.
Jake
Thanks chaps, always good to get some real-world feedback before buying. Blimey though, £55! I thought they'd be a score or so.
