Scott
As above, i have a brand new alternator up for grabs. I thought mine was goosed but it turned out to be the battery. I'm in work just now so can't arrange pics but will get some up if anyone is interested and wants to see it. Its for a TT if that makes a difference. £120 delivered in the UK. ManwithSupra
I have an Jspec Auto would this be a good upgrade from the Jspec Alternator?? As these are apparantly lower than 90amp standard or from what i have read.
Scott
The higher the ampage the better buddy. I'm guessing this must be a UK spec alternator then
Terminator
The auto alternators JDM and UK, have the higher output, they also have the terminals in a different orientation to the manual lower output alternator.

Terminator
Manual 90amp auto 100amp. I am sure the 90amp would be fine in an auto. The biggest draw on the battery is the starter which is the same on all MKIV's. The only differences in current draw between the manual and auto would be the auto box solenoids which activate frequently in traffic and the sub throttle which activates in auto mode on the auto box during changes. As far as I remember, the label on the auto alternator is green.
