Bomex is only going to need a slight trim and thats only to allow room for the spray bar, nitrous purge lines are all done in aeroquip hose (not plastic lorry air line stuff) and exit in the bottom/side vent either side of the Bomex.

may also make another bracket for the Toyota centre mount mount that turns that into a hoop. I am going to measure the prop and get some made up in steel with the ally adaptors, these props use an american flange and Hardy Spicer joint so should be easy enough to source andthe joint is easily replaceable.

might be my eyes but is that prob carbon fibre?

Yes dude, its the 'big boy' carbon prop, I will get spares made in steel or alluminium as the carbon is very expensive.

PW was trying to do a group buy which made em cheaper.

A 2 piece with rubber donuts is asking for trouble on a car that should have the power we are expecting, also being fitted this week will be the Billet diff cover and uprated drive shafts and one off mega strong wheel studs otherwise the breaking point just moves further down the line. The whole point is to be able to launch the car with as much force as poss and not hold back, remember 1/10th sec on the launch is 3/10ths off the 1/4 mile, so 3/10ths off the launch is allmost 1 sec off the 1/4 mile time.

Standard breather systems on Toyotas of the era usually have a vac provided by the intake to help pull the vapours out of the crank case - Toyota done that for a reason so I think best to mimic it with aftermarket catch can setups.

Questionable whether it was done for emissions, possibly to help the turbos etc. but usual thinking in the performance world is to junk the return to intake as oil vapour into the engine is effectively lowering the octane of the burn - instead vent breathers to atmosphere.

I have seen vapour scourge systems where the breathers are plumbed into the turbo downpipe to really pull out of the crankcase and I think b'have might have done this to his over here? In fact looking at the pic dude may have done this here?

Looking mighty impressive dude, can't wait to see you run with this setup.... then get bored and fit a proper drag box to run the times it should really be doing :D

Cheers,

Brian.
