Jellybean
Have a RZ TT and am experiancing Fuel cut, just about to purchase a Greddy BCC and just want taughts on my spec if you see any issues after I solve the Fuel cut * 2nd Cat is SARD sport cat installed * Fuel pump unknown (Jspec most likely ) * 1st cat still in place* Car is currently at 1 bar mechanically (due to sport cat) If I just install BCC what are the implications if I leave other components as they are and leave her at 1 bar but may raise to 1.2 bar? Jellybean
No implications....you just wont hit fuel cut Why for BPU do they recommend you upgrade your Fuel pump for a higher flow rate and remove the first cat?
patrikbrunt
it is recommended you replace the fuel pump because it will be getting tired now at 15 or so years old and you dont want to be running lean if you up the boost, so a walbro or similar higher flowing pump is a good upgrade for the tired J spec unit. mikeyb10supra
Why for BPU do they recommend you upgrade your Fuel pump for a higher flow rate and remove the first cat? People reccomend removing the first cat to aleviate the heat build up the increase in boost causes. Ive had mine running at 1.1bar with the first cat controlling boost and its been fine for 3 years.
