cadman 26
Just finished tarting up my interior (carpet dyeing) and looking forward to taking out the supe in the fine weather that has been promised this weekend. However, when i took it for a quick spin the engine warning light came on. Typical Checked the error code and it came up with error 55, knock sensor No 2 (rear). How serious is this? Tricky-Ricky
It means that the sensor if either fooked or there is a wiring problem, other than that i would say its not such a big deal, as i have yet to see my Supra ECU retard ignition due to knock, and i have deliberately caused a small amount of knock when testing a KS-3, however i won't say categorically that it will be fine. Cheers for that. It was also quite hot today and i was stuck in a bit of traffic for a while. You reckon that could have caused it? However, all the gauges were within their limits! Not sure who i could take it too tho! Would a good auto electrician be able to sort it or is it a more specialist job?
