Matt H
I take it the Red "!" came up? As Suprahuman has said, it is often low brake fluid level. Had the same issue myself, topped it up and hey presto
ADD
nope it wasnt that one its the warning lights under the reset button for the mileage, the far right one that looks like a car with its light on and its orange

Supranature
How on a pre-facelift is that possible? Its the far right of the left-sided cluster
ADD
all the lights are working, that was my first thought. Matt should it not be there then?
Supranature
Have you got the built-in rear fog conversion? This light displays on mine due to incorrect wiring (on to-do list). If not, deffo a blown bulb. Best to check when dark.
ADD
Just re checked them all and nothing is blown The foglight is built into the rear cluster
Matt H
Its the far right of the left-sided cluster Ah, right! Matt should it not be there then? No it's fine, you explanation was slightly confusing that's all.
Supranature
Just re checked them all and nothing is blown The foglight is built into the rear cluster Then it must be one of the relay components within the fog light conversion. They are there to stop the "blown bulb" scenario which you now have. Check all the connections to the conversion. If they seem ok, then one of the relays used to "trick" the system has gone. Guest LUX
...far right on the left hand set of warning lights?...that means 'rear light failure', i have that problem myself, it must be my fog lights, i have a Japanise import with fog light switch fitted under the steering wheel to get car to U.K spec...realy should get that sorted out myself, hopeflly just a bulb, does anyone no what one it is though? i dont fancey leaving car in reverse then jumping out to see if my reverse lights are ok...that'd be silly:blink:
