RedM
Just found todays Daily Express on the train home.... Page 7: Migrants boost Britain, Its another Labour lie. Apparently in short... Labour claim immigrants bring in 16b a year but it's own official figures show that migrants contribute only 62p a head per week which means the uk is making a 11m loss a day to the economy. I know the Convo has moved on but I thought it interesting. I for 1 thought most migrants were ok for the economy. Yeah....hate to break it to ya but that 'news' story comes courtesy of Migrationwatch, who, quelle surprise, are a right-wing organisation who have taken it upon themselves to keep an eye in immigrants. ....and in a right-wing paper too. Who'd have thought it?
RedM
There you go, I was right all along Costing us 11m a day I'll wait to hear what a right wing Nazi paper the Daily Express is and how they support the BNP? Doesn't fit in with what we're being told by others on here, who's right then? Go for it guys See above.
RedM
The co-founder of Migration Watch wishes to persuade us he is the victim of a smear campaign. But what about his views on eugenics? http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2007/mar/16/watchingdavidcoleman1 The BNP even thank their friends at Migrationwatch on their own site. Sorry to piss on your parade, Paul, but it's not the magic bullet you were looking for.
Paul
See above. Ah ok. Can't say I usually read the Express so I wouldn't know that. The fact that I find interesting is that the figures came from the paper Labour released. It goes some way to my earlier point of facts and figures can be manipulated to fit your argument.

Chris Wilson
Whilst the Daily Express used to be a right wing paper it no longer is, I'd describe at as to the right of centre left these days. UKIP don't seem to be getting much of a mention here, what about them?

Ewen
I don't vote, but if I ever did it would be for the bunch who had the least horse-faced women and red faced ra-ra's in it and who stole the least amount of my money. I haven't seen any party actively state figures on these two points as yet, so I'm still stuck in the political wilderness. Bring back Mike Yarwood. Chris Wilson
Didn't know that. Have you got a "thing" about finding tenuous links to maybe none "PC" remarks by everyone? You seem to be a specialist, it must take up a lot of time I have to wonder who your ideal party are? Do people actually have a mythical, ideal mix of views they'd like to see represented by a party? Do people feel frustrated that their views are not supported by ANY official party in England?

They are only tenous if you've already made your mind up and aren't open to new, possibly conflicting information. ..and no, Chris, I don't get frustrated at all that there is no party in the UK that I'd willingly vote for. In fact, the sort of views I have mean that there wouldn't actually be a party anyway. Have a think on that. I am sure the 3 main parties are run by angels and the pure of heart.
