That was great :)

Imagine if he smacked one of them like Prescot did that time, don't think the press would have reacted the same as they did then.

Chucking eggs and kicking the back of that car, are they not 'thugs' also?

That's what's wrong with all this, violence and objectionable behaviour is not acceptable for certain groups yet OK for others?

And yes it was great........this sort of anti democratic behaviour is what's helped get the votes for the BNP so the workshy b*astards that attacked him have done him a favour and shown their true colours!

This is the it for me... I'm not a BNP supporter, and I'm definitely not a prescott supporter, as I said previously I'm a-political, I keep informed but I don't support any of them and I have my own views...

Compare.... (from an as objective view point as possible, and I'm not singling out any particular person here)

Prescott

http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/may/16/newsid_4098000/4098929.stm

In a news conference Prime Minister Tony Blair explained away the punch-up, saying, "John is John."

Mr Prescott was interviewed by police but he was not prosecuted. The Crown Prosecution Service concluded there was not a realistic chance of convicting Mr Prescott because he had acted in self-defence.

It appears that the prime minister of the day was okay with his ministers retaliating against others, but then those who have a different view point are okay to be egged, property damaged and so on purely because their views are extreme compared to the mainstream.

How can you say that, you have no idea how the press would react. Prescott defended himself and I'm sure anyone has the chance to do that.

I don't think it will be the last time he will receive negative views from people around him and it's not the first. I don't agree with egg throwing and damage to property but people feel so strongly about this it's not going to die down over night.

As the whole voting thing is finished I'm locking this thread now. It only serves to show that people on here have very different views - democracy in itself but I don't want to come on here and read another night of arguing especially as people's opinions won't change.

I didn't start this thread to be a BNP row.
