cadman 26
some of my personal favorites. Adulthood Kidulthood American Psycho Harsh Times Heartbreak Ridge 3.10 to Yuma Gran Torino But if your into superb acting, writing, directing, and truly outstanding characters you need to watch the first season of "The Wire" Trust me it's better than any film i've ever watched. stevie_b
I second Leon and Kiss of the Dragon: both excellent films. Also consider: Black Hawk Down Pitch Black / Chronicles of Riddick Lord of War: Nicholas Cage plays an arms dealer. Cracking initial scene (with soundtrack to match) following the life of a bullet, from manufacture to giving someone the "good news".
pedrosixfour
Heres a little gem: Very bad things (Christian Slater, Cameron Diaz, David Piven) Excellent flick.
BillyC
Last of the Mohicans. Got good music Got good story Got good birds Got good violence There's a bit in it where one of the girls is on the edge of the cliff where she looks absolutely gorgeous. Thought the dark haired bird was the better one most of the way through the film, then just jaw dropped on that bit. Not dirty or nothing - she just looks absolutely stunning. And the "dad" in it is hard as nails!
