Hey mate ... don't forget that everybody wants to share your info (which will be difficult as not everybody talks Flemish)

He's talking about the pro's of the Supra against the Rx-7. Didn't see I already choosed the Supra.

Btw, it isn't Flemisch, Flemisch isn't even a language. It's called Dutch . Only the accent they have in Belgium combinated with the dutch language is called Flemisch.

The time is 7:30, Saturday the 10th of April, when we get in the car to Eindhoven Airport. After a long time of preparation and looking around it's finally there, to England to view some Supras.

A quick picture before departure, as forced by mum.

After that we walked to the plane, sat down and relaxed 'till we arrived 5 minutes later on Stansted Airport. (Watch said 5 minutes, felt a bit longer)

On the airport we had to collect our rental car, and drove to the first car.

After a longer than expected drive of 2,5 hours, (Google maps, says it was just over 1 hour) we arrived at the first seller. The one and only JamieP. We did some viewing and a little test-drive and the car seemed like a good example. We decided to buy his car, and safe (probably unnecessary) time driving trough England.

Also I've got the original wheels, that Jamie, collected for me at his father in laws house. However the space in the boot is small, my dad managed to get in 4 rims + tires and a new door panel.

After everything was set, we headed for the Netherlands while Jamie made his last pictures of one of his Supras.

Off course we had to return the rental car, so we had to drive back to Stansted first, what was a bit off the route. But that was no problem driving a Supra.

And at 23:45 we arrived back home! The car behaved great!

Get up early next day to empty the boot, happy with the extra wheels, nice for some winter tyres.

In short about the supra,

It's a '93 TT MKIV auto, with 70.000 Miles on the clock. Jamie said it where Km's, but I think they are Miles, (As i counted 16 100 meter signs before it jumped one mile further.) Except for the Blitz rims, the car is bone stock, extremely quiet and limited at 112mph.

My plans are to rebuild the headlights asap, and get some Dutch license plates. After that I'll like to delimit it and buy another exhaust and airfilter. Next to that are some small things off course, which aren't interesting to tell.

Next to the Supra I do have my other ride, a ’79 Opel Kadett C coupé 2.0 which I'm going to use as my daily drive.

Went to the RDW today, (dutch department for Transport, or whatever you call it) to be tested and get some dutch licenseplates. All went well and the Supra passed the test!

I did the rebuild on the headlights to get them from RHD to LHD myself, so if you need some information about how to do it, just send me a PM. Maybe I'll post up a "How to" threat on here. Think it can be useful, and it will safe you some money to spend on other things!

Well, its a long time ago when I've last posted something up here in my topic, here some pictures to keep you guys posted about how it's going with JamieP's old supra.

Just after I've got it on Dutch Registration I've bought and installed a Blitz Nur spec R, and Blitz LM sus-power airfilter.

That is it for the moment for mods, car is still limited, but that will be solved shortly. Other plans are Racing bucket seats or leather seats and maybe some other goodies like gauges.
