rear plate plastics

I have then on mine. Looks much better than the gaping big space IMHO

This is one of those "Marmite" things. You either love them or hate them.

Personally, I got them and definately prefer them over the wacking great plate you would have to have otherwise to cover the hole.

There attached by a screw (one each) that goes up into the bumper next to the number plate lights and a piece of that double sided sticky foam squarely in the middle that presses against the bumper.

I want rid of my one of these, but don't want it ripping paint off!

What are they going for 1st & 2nd hand?

Don't worry, I've removed them for my car when I bought it, and it seems like they've been there for a long time. It didn't damage the paint in any way, it took me 5 minutes. That sticky double-sided tape on the back of them is pretty soft, and what you actually damage is that tape instead of your paint. You can remove the glue that's left in wiping with your finger. Easy!

Done it a couple of days ago cheers Tom

One side had the tape, which although made it harder to take the plastic off, was easy to peel off.

The other side was some kind of grip-fill! The plastic came off easy, but it took ages to get all the stuff off.

I've got very little finger nails left after all that scratching when they're wet!

I'll post some pics in a few days, when I've got my new plate delivered :)
