uk tubos in a j-spec

I swapped for UK turbos without any issues and I can run higher boost (1.4 bar).

 

Yes, but it wouldn't have just been a direct swap, you'd need the UK manifolds, EGBV setup, downpipe, etc.

 

It's a waste of time in my experience, you loose that lovely mid range torque and only gain a small amount of high end power. The only way to do it properly is to uprate the jspec injectors, get a piggyback/standalone ECU, go TTC and have it mapped to run your desired boost. but then you're getting a fair way into the cost of the next level of mods... ;)

thanks homer ur a legend! looks like im saving the penies then and might as well go down the biger and better rout of different turbo or turbos and all the suporting mods! thanks guys for helping me make up my mind!
