Jason
My J spec TT has a speedo which only reads upto 100mph. ( this was put in by the garage which i bought the car from as it had speedo reading km) I want to change the speedo to a Uk spec. Where is the best place to get these from? How much will it cost? Final question, Is the speedo mechanical or does it read using electronics?
Rob
First thing is, all they have done is change the speedo face, give them a ring and see if they still have the original. You will need a de-limiter from Pete Betts, as your car will be limited to 112mph(180kph). The speedo is driven electronically, the Betts de-limiter divides the signal by 5/8ths. Jspec Germany
I have a TRD 320 speedo to swap for my 180 click unit. Have the dash out right now and need to know the process. Does the gauge cluster have to come out?

Does the gauge cluster have to come out?Yes - take oout the gauge cluster and it's a straight swap - 3 or 4 screws if I remember correctly.
