barneybrendan Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 will fitting a resanator help quiten it down slightly. its 3"straight through with headers on an na. am i right in thinking that if i fit a 2 1/2" bore box then that should give me a slight increase in back pressure. Fitting a 2 1/2 inch restriction will add some back pressure, but no where near the amount of restriction caused by stock cats. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dazzi Posted May 23, 2009 Share Posted May 23, 2009 I had my exhaust open from the first decat just to see what it was like, I went deaf for 2 days, car was running extremely rich which contributed to the flames etc. A 3" bore silencer box did tone things down slighty but still mega loud.
