semi and fully synthetic oil temps diferance

right i have a bit of a question here

i done a engine flush [motul flush] and filter change [jap TRD] and put some full synthetic oil in [motul 300v]

my temp would sit above 100c even when ideling.i was out on a track day 2 weeks ago and after 2 laps [max 3min] temps would shoot up to 130-145c

id then pull back in wate 30min for the car to cool down a bit and go back out for 2-3 laps

after the track day i changed the oil and filter agen along with another flush.this time i used the semi-synthetic motul 6100

temps are 90-100 with a peek of 115 when been driven hard.

was it the 300v that made the car run hot ?

or some thing else ?

its a 1JZ-GTE running 300whp/350@fly with 200K km on it

the gauge is a defi one and the reading is takein from a sanwich plate

should i stick with a semi now ?

First i would say don't use an engine flush, unless you have rebuilt the engine and know its not got lots of deposits that could be loosened by the flushing, it is vaguely possible that its the reason for higher temps, (partial restriction) to oil flow somewhere, which in turn is causing more friction = hight temps.

I'm not saying that is a definite, and don't want to panic you but to flush an unknown engine is taking a risk.
