Jellybean
My car is restricted Mechanically to 1 bar Boost controller is Apexi AVCR, car is setup at BPU level If you turn the boost controller and set to 1 bar or up to 1.2 the minute the 2nd tubby kicks in she stalls, takes a hissy fit and just splutters down the road With it turned is off she runs great, I have set it up based off the tutorial here http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/index.html Any idea's I would like to have a 1.2 boost setting setup Reset and start over? Paul Whiffin
Are you sure your not hitting fuel cut?
Jellybean
Are you sure your not hitting fuel cut? Was thinking it might be fuel cut , she doesnt have a FCD but a sard rom as far as I am aware wasnt too sure if it was fuel cut because I no experiance of it. so FCD? it is really worth the hastle for . 2 bar if shes running 1.0 Edited May 21, 2009 by Jellybean (see edit history)

I totally agree, I've just restricted mine down to 1 bar from 1.2 and it feels gutless now, I tried an even smaller restrictor ring that took it down to 0.8 and that was just too big a power drop to go for, I did it so I could fit my boost controller that I've had sat in the drawer for about 14 months, that way I can turn it up for a blast every now and then and hopefully save a little bit of fuel the rest of the time.
