well as some of you may know i purchased roberts single turbo aristo. my aim is to take out the engine from this and drop it into my 6spd tt.

i bought the car yesterday thinking to myself finally ill know what the hype is all about and whether single is just a 'PSYCHOLOGICAL' change rather than a power change! lol (awaits a killing from big boys)

so anyways i put my foot down a few times and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa the power and the sound! single turbos are insane!!!! bear in mind that i was in an aristo that weighs half the earth and with an auto gearbox. i really cant wait till its in my light weight sup and with my 6spd box!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy and excited right now, cant wait to do the transplant this weekend and absolutely terrorize my Neighbourhood!

the new addition to my household:-

thanks for the help bud, the engine which is coming out is a proper pucker jza80 supra tt engine. i dont think i will have any issues but like you said i will consult some experienced guys before i go ahead with it.

Hmm the question is what money do you want for the TT lump

hahaha!!!

well sorry but the TT lump is not for sale! lol im keeping it as a spare for now because i have heard a lot of singles go wrong so to be on the safe side i rather keep it and not need it than need it and end up spending loads of £ getting one, plus my engine thats in the supra is crystal clean, it has done 30k miles and after 1000 miles the engine oil is still crystal clean like as if it came out of the bottle. very sweet clean engine and it took me time to source it.

:yeahthat:

I've read a couple of "whats the difference" threads re Aristo / Supra engines, and IIRC there were quite a few that cropped up.
